These terms are a real agreement, but they are written to be read. They govern your use of the Blessy iOS application (the “App”) and of blessyapp.com (the “Site”), operated by the App's independent developer in Spain (“we”, “us”). By using the App or the Site, you agree to them.

1. What Blessy is — and isn't

Blessy is an alarm clock that is dismissed by holding a prayer posture, paired with daily Bible verses and streak tracking. It is a devotional tool, not a medical, sleep-therapy or mental-health product, and it offers no medical advice. If sleep is a health concern for you, talk to a professional.

Waking up remains your responsibility. Alarms depend on your device being on, charged, near you, and with permissions granted. Do not rely on any single alarm — ours included — for situations where oversleeping could cause serious harm.

2. License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on Apple devices you own or control, as permitted by the App Store Terms. Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies where these terms are silent.

3. Subscriptions, trials and billing

Blessy Premium is offered as an auto-renewing subscription (annual or weekly), billed by Apple through your App Store account at the price shown in the App before purchase.
The annual plan begins with a free trial (currently 7 days). Unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, the subscription starts automatically. Blessy also schedules a local reminder the day before — but the App Store timing is what governs.
Manage or cancel anytime in iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Canceling stops future renewals; the current period runs to its end.
Refunds are decided and processed by Apple via reportaproblem.apple.com. We cannot issue App Store refunds ourselves, though we'll gladly help you navigate the process.
Where consumer law grants you additional rights (including EU withdrawal rights), nothing here limits them.

4. Your content and data

Your alarms, answers, streak and signature stay on your device (and, optionally, in your personal iCloud). We never receive them. The privacy policy is short and is part of these terms.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

copy, modify, reverse-engineer or redistribute the App or its content (sounds, verses curation, artwork) except as the law expressly permits;
use the App in any unlawful way or to harm anyone;
circumvent, or attempt to circumvent, the App Store's billing.

6. Intellectual property

The App, the Site, the Blessy name and mark, the 21 original alarm scores, the interface and all accompanying artwork are our property or licensed to us, protected by copyright and trademark law. Bible text is drawn from public-domain translations. The press kit grants limited rights to use brand assets for coverage of Blessy.

7. Availability and changes

We may update, change or discontinue features to keep Blessy honest, private and working — including when Apple's platforms change. Because Blessy runs on your device without our servers, an update can't be forced on you, but old versions may stop being supported.

8. Warranties and liability

The App and Site are provided “as is”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties and will not be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages — including a missed wake-up — beyond the amount you paid for the App in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded (including for willful misconduct or gross negligence), or your statutory consumer rights.

9. Termination

You can end this agreement anytime by deleting the App (cancel your subscription first — deletion does not cancel it). We may terminate the license if you materially breach these terms.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Spain. If you are a consumer in the EU, you also enjoy the protections of your country of residence, and disputes may be brought before your local courts. The European Commission's consumer dispute resolution platform is also available.

11. Changes to these terms

If we change these terms in a way that matters, the date above will change and significant updates will be noted in the App or on this Site before they take effect. Continued use after that means acceptance.
